Message to Listener. I guess Ill get off my ass and make a post.

What is it about the Z community that sets it apart from other car communities?

The Z community has some of the most knowledgeable, dedicated, and IMO, intelligent automotive enthusiasts i have ever known. Much in the way that chess is a thinking man's game; the Z is not a car for your average enthusiast. It takes a unique mindset(some may call it obsession) as well as an affinity for the small details that really set a Z owner apart from your average "t00ner". I think you would be hard pressed to find a group more willing to help one another then the members on this forum. The Z community is also very close knit. Sell poor quality exhaust? Everybody will know. Buy/Sell your Z. Everybody knows. Screw people on service and parts? Everybody will know. The breadth and depth of combined and shared information that is accessible 24x7x365 on TT.net and at club meets and track days is unlike anything most other communities could dream of. And it is in that sense i think we are a world different than any other group out there.

Is it the aesthetics or the mechanical composition that attracts you to the Z?

Although id like to be cliche` and say that inner beauty is what matters. The car's lines and dominating appearance is what first attracted me to it.

What makes the Z different from owning another type of hot rod?

We have less old guys with tiny peckers than the Vett/Porche clubs. Thats always a plus.

Do you find yourself having personal relationship with others based on your shared love for the Z?

VERY personal.

How would you classify the Z community? Family? Fraternity? Friends? Acquaintances?

I like the idea of a Z Frat. I should get really start one.

Does owning a Z mean more than just owning a car?

Well for you, Listener, it means having to listen to me incessantly ramble on about new parts/shows/trips/club days and finding a place with a garage because i wont park outside.

If you couldn't drive the Z what would you drive?
E46 M3. yeah. mmmm.

Are you part of any local clubs? If so how involved are you?

yeah Club Z...well....whats left of it. I try to do as many events as i have time for.

Have you met any people in the Z community that have become close friends?

Yeah. a few.

What is it that would entice people to join the Z community?

free keychains for a TT.net donation!! i mean cmon...free schwag! i think we' get a lot more people interested though if we gave out T'sihrts for a 25$ donation. just a thought though.
